The Day After
I guess it's inevitable to have to say something about the recent events that have taken place. Till publishing time, the death toll at the affected areas have risen sharply to 25,000 people or so. What happened was indeed tragic and most unexpected. And for people in Malaysia, a country which we've learnt from our geograhphy lessons is out of the lingkaran api pasifik (if I remember rightly), I guess it's even more shocking! Hope that all of us can offer a prayer for the well being of those who have survived and for all who are no more.
On another note, I've been dying to write on this blog for a few days now...sudden urge! It's games galore and all about relaxed atmosphere here at the lab. Must be the ushering in of the new year of 2005. So how're your resolutions coming along? Anyone out there with a sure fire way to stick to what you've written?
This year is drawing to an end. I'm sure many great things and not so great stuff have taken place in your lives. But whatever that has happened, for me at least, I'm going to take it as a learning experience and use it to improve. Maybe I can even use it to help people too...that would be nice. Take care peeeps...;)
I'll leave you with a few pics courtesy of CNN, on the effects of the tidal waves in the areas of Aceh, Penang Island, Phuket Island, Sri Lanka and India.
